From Barnham Court Farm you are well placed to visit the glorious South Downs or to go to one of the huge beaches like the one at West Wittering. The City of Chichester with its fine Cathedral is about 6 miles to the West and the town of Arundel with its Castle and Catholic Cathedral is about 5 miles to the East. Delightful walks across open farmland start from right outside your door and you can cycle straight to a cycle path that leads to the sea less than two miles away at Felpham .

Local restaurants abound and some of them are good. Among the good ones are the expensive luxury of Bailiffscourt at Climping, the excellent modern White Horse pub at Lavant and the architecturally stylish East Beach Cafe on Littlehampton beach front - about 15 minutes away.
